Scotty McCreery with Special Guest Clark Manson

Saturday night was rockin’ with country superstar Scotty McCreery headlining Radcliff’s Summer Blast 2017. The sky was empty of clouds but that wasn’t the case at City Hall where the stage was set and live country music was booming. A sea of thousands of fans  were in attendance.

Clark Manson has opened for Chase Rice, Tyler Farr, Easton Corbin, and quickly making a solid name for himself.  Clark is a 25 year old Ohio native  and he’s taking country music by storm! Bringing the party with him, He connects with the crowd singing his own songs such as “Track 9”, “Drinkin'”, and his latest single “Friday Nighters”; a song dedicated to those that love to party.

Clark knows how to entertain; telling stories about song writing and his journey so far. His funny and somewhat corny jokes (as he already knows) makes for a fun and eventful show.  Clark’s sound of traditional country with his own spin of originality make for an up beat mix. Classic hits like that of John Mellencamp’s “Hurt So Good” get a country makeover that is as great as Mellencamp’s own original version.

The stage was set and the crowd couldn’t contain themselves much longer as American Idol season 10 winner and country super star Scotty McCreery took the stage! It was deafening as he ran up on stage waving and smiling. Scotty’s high energy running and jumping on stage paired with his jaw dropping guitar skills make his live show worth experiencing time and time again!

McCreery refused to end his cover of “Ain’t Going Down Till The Sun Comes Up” until he could hear every member of the crowd. Multi-colored strobe lighting and a tiered stage made it that much more fun to watch as Scotty and the band brought all they had to the fans Saturday night.

Also Scotty performed his latest single “Five More Minutes” released months ago from his fourth studio album a few months prior and he has proved to connect with fans. The single, which is about making a moment last, has received lots of airplay and is anticipated to become a number one hit.

McCreery played ” I Love You This Big”, as the crowd sang  and swayed right along word by word. When the crowd sings along with every song along, it makes an artists hard work and dedication pay off!

We can’t give away the set list because what fun is that!? You can anticipate Scotty’s biggest hits, newest material, and a few covers of timeless country hits.

  1. Scotty is the best male artist in the country genre. What a wonderful young man our Scotty. I wouldn’t trade him for a speckled puppy.
