Hey! I’m Ryan and I’m a photographer and writer/editor for 11232173_842493979121513_6138819818552059989_omusicmattersmagazine.com. I’m Kentucky born and raised in a small town called Mackville. At 27 years old, I’ve been shooting shows professionally for 4 years now for various different outlets all over Kentucky until we launched Music Matters. Music is my passion, capturing the emotion and sharing the story with the world is my goal. Music matters, that’s why we do what we do. It was a Jason Michael Carroll concert with a Kodak point and shoot, taking pictures without any thought and it created a passion that can’t be stopped. Feel free to follow my facebook page at  Ryan Keith Photography.

Greetings fellow music lovers! Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Amanda, you’re neighborhood old soul. I am an avid music fan, devoted to classic rock. However, I can also be found spending time with dance/techno, funk/soul and pop radio. While I’m not a big fan of country or bluegrass; I won’t tell you to hang up your cowboy hat. I remain open to hearing new artists and exploring the ones we already know. Apart from my undying passion for music, my other great romance is cooking. And no, I don’t mean opening a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese though it is my guilty pleasure. I live and work in Wheelersburg, Ohio and have two spoiled, needy Persian cats. With love to fans everywhere, rock on. Please feel free to follow me on twitter @amandajill82

In the business of creating the moments, and capturing them in a click for over thirty years. As a matter fact the doctors are pretty sure she bleeds film…

12092217_10204995908565043_1209015887_nHi guys! I’m Tanisea music photographer and writerI have photographed red carpet events in Los Angeles and attended the APMAs in Cleveland. . I have a diverse taste in music, especially rap, pop, rock and country. I started out as just your average fan. As a teenager I knew I was going to be a hard core rock lover, especially once I laid eyes on Sebastian Bach and his gorgeous blue eyes (my first rock crush!) and I heard Skid Row’s 18 and life. I was instantly hooked. While I love attending shows– feeling the energy of the crowd, the wailing of the guitars and the heaviness of the bassthere’s nothing better than photographing an artist that you’re also a fan of and capturing them in their element. It’s pure awesomeness. When an artist or client appreciates my work that is the best feeling in the world. I’ve been to hundreds of concerts and met many musicians, actors/actresses and celebrities. One of my nieces says I’m a “celebrity magnet” because I meet so many famous people when I’m on vacation. I can’t explain it, and of course, she’s right, but I’ll never admit it.  On a personal level, my personal motto is “If it’s fun, I wanna try it”. I love to travel, and enjoy cooking, but admit that I pretty much order take out most daysA lot. Looking for a good place to eat? Check my Instagram. And if you’re wondering, yes, I photograph my food before I eat (stop chanting “Eat it, don’t Tweet it!”). It’s what I do. I am the mommy to a Yorkie named Jae and two Pomeranian siblings, Bacardi and Daiquiri. Volunteering and spending time with family and friends are two things that hold a special place in my heart. One of the hardest questions that people ask me is who my favorite person that I’ve met is (stay tuned), and the easiest is who my favorite band isEasy. It’s Papa Roach and as much as I like rock, I still do, and always will scream like an old school Beatles fan for NKOTB. Feel free to follow me on Twitter (@Tanise_Werner) and Instagram (@Gyft_photography) or send me an email at jaerocwerner@gmail.com

Thank You

Amanda Walsh:
Writer
untitled
Chicago native and Saint Xavier University alum (class of 2007), Amanda Walsh is an aspiring journalist with a strong passion for music and longtime love of writing. While in college, she spent her time volunteering as a radio DJ, working as the station’s Music Director, and serving as a regular contributing writer for the campus newspaper where she combined her love for music and writing. Between attending multiple concerts a month all over the city, interviewing various bands both in and out of the studio, and introducing her friends and show listeners to new artists (both local and national acts), it was during this time that Amanda really discovered her niche. Whether listening alone with her headphones or experiencing it live in person, music has always been Amanda’s safe haven and more like a religion, with concerts feeling more like going to church. Today the number of artist interviews under her belt continues to grow, as she strives to break new and up and coming artists before other outlets. She also continues to attend as many concerts as her bank account will allow.
