Fans were in for a treat despite the summer heat as the Red Hot Chili Peppers seemed to satisfy all in attendance. The word in the stands, echoed by so many, was that the show sounded like listening to a record. The audio was so clear and the performance was done so well, that several said it was the best concert they had ever been to by any artist.

If you’re not into deep cuts but prefer to hear and see the radio-popular tunes performed, then this is the show for you, as you can expect to hear all the favorites and hear them done well. While still supporting their 13th album, Return of the Dream Canteen, their focus was surely on their most popular hits.

The stars of this band have always been Anthony Kiedis, the lead singer with the unique vocal style, and Flea, the acrobatic bassist, and this show saw them both take center stage as always. Anthony’s vocals were spot on and Flea, well, Flea was jumping all over like he was still in his 20s. At one point, he hastily climbed up onto his stack of bass cabinets, while carrying his bass guitar, and proceeded to play atop them!
