One of the most feel-good lost-love songs you’ll ever hear, “Real Fast Car” is a four-on-the-floor banger whose soundscape focuses on the high speeds a vehicle would need to travel back in time, rather than on the weight of romantic regret. The track accelerates to a thumping, vast and echoing chorus that races to recapture sweet teenage dreams and an unforgettable first love:

If I had a real fast car

I’d drive plus a hundred

Tryna race those stars

Shift back to the summer

When we wrecked our hearts

I’d take us back real fast, real fast

“That first kiss or first dance, or even the first mistake that you make – those are important moments,” says Cooper. “This song actually took me the longest it’s ever taken me to write and record a song, and it’s super special to me because it’s one of those songs that just takes you back in time.”

Cooper, who co-wrote and co-produced “Real Fast Car” alongside another rising talent, Kyle Cruz, has a history of using cars to make music. The young artist spent six months working as a car salesman in his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida, to save enough money for his first recording sessions in Nashville.

Signing with Quartz Hill Records in July this year, Cooper is currently on a nationwide radio tour to support his life-affirming debut single, “Highs & Lows,” which will impact U.S. country radio on Sept. 29.

A solo write for Cooper that has already earned 7 million streams, “Highs & Lows” is a jaunty, mid-tempo, singalong story song that acknowledges life’s peaks and valleys while celebrating the strength we can find in each other and in faith. The track’s official performance video has debuted at No. 4 on Taste of Country and The Boot’s “Top 10 Video Countdown.” CountryLine radio and TV has lauded Cooper as “One to Watch,” noting “a fast-rising career that’s only gaining momentum.”
