JET BLACK ROSES : A Southern Rock influenced band that is making waves in the music industry with their unique brand of Rock and Roll With a Southern Soul.

Jet Black Roses has astounded audiences nationwide with their impressive powerful well blended vocal harmonies, Very skilled electrifying guitar work, lots of music versatility and authentic Southern rock style .They are : Trey Bentley , Andrew Bentley and Tyler Cates. They Just released their Self titled album called Jet Black Roses. A twelve song album that showcases who The Jet Black Roses are and is produced by Greg Archilla and co-produced by the band. (Greg Archilla has worked with Collective Soul, MatchBox Twenty, Neil Young and Many more artists.)

With songs like King of Fools, Honeysuckle Hustle, Holy Water, Barefoot Gypsy Mama, Barroom Believers, Send Me, Song of a Southern Man and much more can be found on their new album.

Opening for iconic acts such as Styx, Collective Soul, Sammy Hagar & The Circle, Drivin & Cryin, Mother’s Finest, and .38 Special was an opportunity where these southern boys triumphed at every turn, earning new fans and standing ovations night after night. In fact, Jet Black Roses earned the spot to open for the iconic band Styx on their East Coast Tour Fall of 2024. Due to fan demand, Jet Black Roses released their much-anticipated debut single and music video, “King of Fools,” which tells the story of a man down on his luck who keeps making poor decisions in an attempt to better his situation. “King of Fools” is a spirited rock anthem about living in the moment and good times mixed with bad decisions. Recorded at Treesound Studios in Atlanta, the band captured the song in one take, preserving the raw energy of their live performance. Here is what the the band had to say when asked a few basic questions for people to get to know The Jet Black Roses:

1. Where are you guys from ? We are a southern rooted band with a blend of Georgia and North Carolina in our DNA. Trey and Andrew grew up together in Red Bud Georgia, while Tyler comes out of North Carolina and currently lives in Atlanta, different hometowns, same heartbeat.

2. How long have you been together?And how did you get the name Jet Black Roses? We’ve been creating together for a few years now.Going on eight to be exact. Things really locked in a couple of years back.When we connected with our producer Greg,  Archilla and the vision became clear, the name, Jet Black Roses came from a song we had written by the same name, but we really wanted something bold mysterious and beautiful something that carried grit and elegance at the same time that duality is the core of our sound.
3. There are two brothers in the band so who all makes up the Jet Black Roses? We’ve got Trey Bentley on vocals and rhythm guitar, Andrew Bentley on bass and vocals, Tyler Cate’s on lead guitar and vocals, two Bentley brothers and one brother by heart and music..
4. Who writes your songs. ? Writing is a full on collaboration. We all write, Trey, Andrew and Tyler. And we work closely with Greg Archilla as well. Everyone brings ideas, melodies, riffs and lyrics to the table.The only rule is whatever makes the song better wins.
5. Did you grow up in a musical family? And who influenced you the most? Me (Trey ) and Andrew grew up in a musical home. Our mom and dad recorded in Nashville and worked with some legends. So music was literally a part of everyday life Tyler came up surrounded by classic rock. soul and funk, everything from Prince to the Isley Brothers. His dad had a killer record collection and Tyler was steeped in that so our influencers range from southern rock to R & B to Americana. If it’s soulful honest and hits you in the chest, it probably shaped us.
6. Your debut album is out now so who produced it? Our debut album is self titled Jet Black Roses.It’s our introduction to the world. It is raw honest and unapologetically us.The album was produced by Greg Archilla and co produced by the band. Greg always pushes us creativity and really help carve out the sound we knew we had in us.
7. Will the album be available on all platform’s ? (streaming CD, vinyl?) The album is available on all major streaming platforms.Physical formats, like Cd’s and vinyl are in the works.We know fans love something.They can hold and we do too.
8. How long did it take you to write these songs?And do you have a favorite? These songs have been coming together over the past couple of years.Some were born during the pandemic.Others came to life the moment.The three of us locked ourselves in a room with our producer Greg .It’s hard to pick one favorite, but “Send Me” is definitely a standout for us.One of those songs that just flows out naturally.
9. What is your newest video release? Our latest music.Video is for our cover of Seals.Classic- Kiss From a Rose . That song really has always held a special place for all of us.We are huge comic book lovers and huge fans of batman .So the first time we heard that song in the batman movie with Val Kilmer ( RIP) it lived rent free in our head.So it was only natural.We recorded our version at some point. 
10. With the year coming to a close, what are your plans for next year? Touring ,playing bigger shows, meeting fans face to face.We want to grow this community and bring these songs to as many cities as possible.More music! More videos !More connection!.
11. Do you have any tour news or extra announcements? We have opened for some massive acts like Styx,.Collective Soul, Sammy Hagar, and that fire is only growing. We’ve got more shows and announcements coming very soon.2026 is going to be a very Big one.
