Landman Season Two Finale Premieres On Sunday, January 18, Exclusively On Paramount+

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – MCA (a division of Universal Music Group) announces the release of Landman – Songs From and Inspired by the Paramount+ Original Series (Volume II), available now across all platforms HERE. The second installment of music from Landman, created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, continues to expand the sonic world of the critically acclaimed series—capturing the emotional weight, grit, and humanity of life in the West Texas oilfields. The Landman Season Two finale is available to stream on Sunday, January 18, exclusively on Paramount+.
Volume II spotlights a new wave of voices who bring depth and intimacy to the Landman narrative, including standout contributions from Carter Faith, The Red Clay Strays, and more—each offering songs that feel lived-in, raw, and deeply connected to the show’s themes of resilience, longing, and survival.
Carter Faith delivers two defining moments on the soundtrack with “Goodbye” and “Lay Your Heartache Onto Mine,” both co-written with Landman star Billy Bob Thornton and Jessie Jo Dillon and produced by Dave Cobb. “Goodbye” is a stark meditation on the many ways people leave one another—quietly, abruptly, or without answers—while “Lay Your Heartache Onto Mine,” a duet with William Beckmann, offers a moment of shared vulnerability set against the glow of a dance hall floor.
Adding further depth to the collection, The Red Clay Strays bring their raw, soul-soaked intensity to the soundtrack, grounding Landman in the kind of lived-in Southern realism that blurs the line between grit and grace. Rounding out the trio, Dalton Davis contributes “Fireproof,” a swagger-filled, character-driven track written by Billy Bob Thornton, Ronnie Bowman, and Mark Collie. With a vocal that balances charm and danger, Davis delivers a song that feels tailor-made for Landman’s world—where strength isn’t about invincibility, but about knowing exactly who you are when the pressure hits.
Across the full tracklist, Landman (Volume II) continues the series’ tradition of pairing powerful storytelling with authentic Americana, country, and roots performances. The collection features additional contributions from artists including Lee Ann Womack, Luke Grimes, Colter Wall, Whiskey Myers, Noeline Hofmann, and more—each carefully chosen to deepen the emotional landscape of the show.
Following the success of Landman – Songs From and Inspired by the Paramount+ Original Series (Volume I), which was exclusively announced by Entertainment Weekly, Volume II further cements music as a core storytelling element of the series—bringing viewers closer to the lives, losses, and quiet moments that define Landman.
