Street Symphonies Records & Burning Minds Music Group are excited to announce the release of “Wasted,” the first single taken from “Harder Faster Glitter,” the debut album by Italian glam metallers Hot Rod. The track is now available on all major streaming platforms, along with an official lyric video.

Guitarist Christian Balsamo states: “Wasted is rooted in raw, no-frills ’90s hard rock. Sound-wise, it sits somewhere between Steel Panther’s Feel The Steel and Warrant’s Dog Eat Dog: straight to the point, gritty, and unapologetic. The song comes from wild, booze-soaked nights spent roaming the city, and it wears that attitude on its sleeve. Lyrically, it’s one of the most rowdy tracks we’ve written: rough-edged, brash, and politically incorrect. No surprise there—Wasted has often kicked off our live sets.”

Hot Rod were formed in 2006. Their sound is an electrifying fusion of influences, spanning from the glittering 1980s – the Golden Age of the genre – to the raw edge of the 1990s. With two demos under their belt and a history of live performances across Italy and beyond, Hot Rod have become known for delivering explosive shows and an unapologetic attitude.

“Harder Faster Glitter” is set for release on March 13, 2026.
