“HEAVEN ON HORSEBACK“

Twangy Western Torch
Romanticizing The American Cowboy And Cowgirl
Due Friday, March 13, 2026
| NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Rising Texas country star Hayden Haddock is set to release his new single, “Heaven On Horseback,”* a twangy throwback that enlivens the infatuation and romanticism of the American cowboy and cowgirl. Written by Haddock alongside Caden Gillard and Dan Hutson, and produced by Drew Hall, the heartfelt western torch song is slated for release on Friday, March 13, 2026 via all major digital retail and streaming platforms under the Good Company Entertainment Records imprint. (Distribution by CmdShft) Painting a vivid depiction of a restless, rough and tumble wrangler, the serendipitous tale portrays a head-over-heels, true love skeptic and the transformative power of a woman’s influence to turn a rebel into a believer. With a spirit that lights a match to ground him, her presence becomes his guiding light providing hope, confidence and strength. “When I sat down to write with my buddies Caden Gillard and Dan Hutson in Nashville, we threw out the title ‘Heaven On Horseback’,” said Haddock. “It’s always been an age-old adage that every girl loves a cowboy. Truth be told, there’s a similar romanticism about a cowgirl. This is kind of our version of ‘Cowboy Take Me Away,’ from a guy’s perspective. A woman can tame even the wildest one. It paints a great picture.” The neo-traditional tune stands exactly where it belongs. Firmly planted in today’s contemporary country soundscape and rooted in his kinship to classic country and iconic sounds, Haddock draws openly from the language of ’90s country substantiated by uncomplicated instrumentation. The fiery guitar opener comes in hot, yet leaves lots of space for the Texan’s laid-back vocals (lending subtle nuances to Tracy Lawrence and Zach Top) that crescendo into a high-powered chorus. Striking electric guitar riffs hover above subtle pedal steel and fiddle licks that escalate the cinematic portrayal. The March 2026 release is keeping with the momentum of Haddock’s most recent singles, “Keep Me Up” and “Hell Or High Whiskey.” Both released in 2025, the songs have amassed over 123,000 cumulative Spotify streams to date.
