LUKE GRIMES ANNOUNCES SOPHOMORE ALBUM REDBIRD OUT APRIL 3

New Song “Love You Now” Available Today

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Luke Grimes will release his highly anticipated sophomore album, Redbird, on April 3 via Range Music/MCA. The 10-track project, produced by Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb, marks Grimes’ most personal and fully realized musical statement to date. Fans can pre-save and pre-order the album now, and the first song from the project, “Love You Now,” is available everywhere today, listen HERE

“Making Redbird was a cathartic experience in many ways,” says Grimes. “Sometimes the highs and lows of life are too much to express with words, so song becomes necessary. As deeply personal as it is, the themes are simple and universal: love, loss, and learning along the way.”

Recorded primarily at Georgia May Studio in Savannah and Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, Redbird leans into classic country foundations and organic instrumentation, allowing space for Grimes’ steady baritone and emotionally direct songwriting to lead. Across the album’s ten tracks, he explores love, faith, regret, and resilience with a stripped-down clarity that favors storytelling over spectacle. The result is a record rooted in tradition yet unmistakably modern in perspective.

Grimes co-wrote much of the album and contributed acoustic guitar, percussion, and drums throughout the sessions, working alongside Cobb and collaborators including Jessie Jo Dillon, Natalie Hemby, and others. Songs like “Drink Drink Drink” and “Haunted” wrestle with self-doubt and reckoning, while “Without You,” “A Little More Time,” and today’s release “Love You Now” reflect on commitment, loss, and the quiet strength found in staying present.

Already known to audiences worldwide for his leading role as Kayce Dutton on Paramount Network’s Yellowstone, Grimes continues to expand his creative footprint. He will next star in the leading role of the upcoming CBS series MARSHALS, premiering on Sunday, March 1. In music, he has quickly established himself as a respected voice in modern country, with his self-titled debut album and breakout track “No Horse to Ride” helping push his catalog past 200 million global streams.

With Redbird, Grimes doubles down on craft and authenticity — delivering a cohesive, deeply felt album that reflects an artist confident in his voice and committed to longevity.
