From the Upcoming Amazon Prime Video Limited Series The Gray House

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Today, The War And Treaty unveil “If This Day (From The Gray House Original Soundtrack),” a powerful new recording featured on the forthcoming soundtrack to Amazon Prime Video’s highly anticipated limited series The Gray House, arriving February 26, listen HERE.

Written by legendary 17x Oscar®-nominated songwriter Diane Warren and performed with the duo’s signature soul-baring intensity, “If This Day” captures the emotional weight at the heart of The Gray House — a story of courage, sacrifice, and quiet resilience during one of the most pivotal moments in American history. The track blends gospel-rooted harmonies and sweeping orchestration, allowing Michael and Tanya Trotter’s voices to carry both strength and vulnerability in equal measure.

“‘If This Day’ is not only about these brave women of The Gray House,” shared Diane Warren. “It also applies to us all, to look at ourselves and ask ourselves did we do all we could do, did we stand up for those we needed to stand up for, did we live enough, love enough, forgive enough. Did you do the best you could do with the time you were given on this earth?”

Produced by Desmond Child, Marti Frederiksen, and Leslie Greif, the song stands as one of the soundtrack’s most moving centerpieces, channeling both the historical gravity of the series and the timeless humanity of its characters.
