RFD-TV’s On The Record Presented by John Deere Returns with Season 6

Deeper conversations from the heart of Nashville

Nashville, Tenn. — February 17, 2026 — RFD-TV’s acclaimed music interview series On The Record presented by John Deere is back for Season 6, continuing its tradition of going beyond the headlines for in-depth conversations with country music legends, today’s superstars, and the genre’s most promising up-and-comers.

Hosted by legendary broadcaster Suzanne Alexander, the series draws on her more than 30 years of experience interviewing the biggest names in country music. From her very first interview with Loretta Lynn while still in college, to sitting down decades later with chart-toppers like Cody Johnson, Alexander remains captivated by the personal journeys behind the music.

“The bottom line is artists all have one thing in common, which is a love and a passion to create great music,” says Alexander. “It’s the ‘getting there’ that is different for each and every one. It’s in those stories that we get to the heart of who that artist is, what drives them, how they keep going when told ‘no,’ and the desire to hit that hallowed stage of the Grand Ole Opry. It’s in those conversations that our viewers—the fans of the music—get to pull up a chair and listen in on some incredibly personal stories.”

Continuing the creative evolution introduced in recent seasons, Season 6 once again brings viewers inside some of the most iconic studios on Nashville’s famed Music Row. Interviews are conducted in renowned recording spaces including Starstruck Studios and Ocean Way Nashville, creating a visually rich and authentic backdrop that reflects the artistry and history of country music.

The move to new sets delivers a fresh, elevated look that matches the heart and depth of the show, while preserving the intimate tone that has made On The Record a must-watch for country music fans nationwide.

Over the years, On The Record has welcomed an impressive lineup of guests spanning generations and styles, including Crystal Gayle, Gretchen Wilson, Zach Top, Mitchell Tenpenny, and Cody Johnson, among many others. Each episode offers candid, heartfelt conversations that reveal the resilience, passion, and purpose driving country music’s brightest stars.

With its signature storytelling style and unparalleled access, On The Record continues to celebrate the voices and journeys that define country music—inviting viewers to experience the stories behind the songs like never before. The new season, now in production, promises to be bigger and better.
