Vince Youngs newly released single is taking radio by storm and when I listened for the first time I knew why. Youngs new single “My Turn” is a Honky Tonk hit that instantly went to my country playlist. It has all the twang and rowdiness of outlaw country and the story within the lyrics to make it a big hit for Youngs. A perfect blend of rock/southern rock and country gives everyone a re4ason to hit repeat. You can find Vince Youngs new single on iTunes, Spotify, and other music retailers.
“My Turn,” was written by former Exile founding member/B-3 player extraordinaire Bernie Faulker and Keith Harling. Recorded at The Sound Kitchen with Faulkner at the helm, A-List players proved their worth on a track that shouts with energy. Grounded by Brian Allen‘s bass and Wes Little‘s drums, Greg Bieck shines on keyboards, while Mike Durham shreds the guitar. Ron Wallace adds his distinctive background vocals to the sing-along chorus – and helps create an anthem for fans of today’s New Country. The outing is a tribute to the raw outlaw sound of icons Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings, and to this generation’s superstars, Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan.
