The Kentucky Headhunters headline The Shed’s 15 year Anniversary concert.
Maryville Tennessee and the Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson The Shed was THE place to be for Labor day weekend. The Kentucky Headhunters Played to a packed house for the Shed’s 15 Year Anniversary over the labor day weekend.
Kicking off the show was a Fantastic new band called The Georgia Thunderbolts. They hit the shed stage just a blazing! The band hails from Rome Georgia and has a wide variety of musical influences .Their first CD called “Southern Rock From Rome” is available now. They now have a Big Record deal for their next record.
Band Members include: TJ Lyle -Lead vocals, Bristol Perry -Drums, Riley Couzzourt-Lead guitar, Zach Everett-Bass/Vocals, Logan Tolbert- Rhythm Guitar/vocals.
The Guys did some songs from their Southern Rock From Rome CD including : “ Be Good To Yourself” , “Its Alright” , and “Lend A Hand” They also did Lynyrd Skynyrds “ Workin For MCA” and did a great job!
These guys have the “IT” factor. and are a MUST SEE if in your area. These guys are on the rise so look for them! They put on a Awesome show!
Next up was The Kentucky Headhunters who Never Disappoints! They Always do great and seem to always have fun but they Really SHINE on that Shed Stage and seem to have the Most fun! Taking the stage and doing lots of their usual songs “ Lonesome me” “ Davy Crockett” “ Daddy Was A Milk Man” “ Dumas Walker” “ Spirit In The Sky” “ Walk Softly on this Heart of Mine” Some Blues and even throwing in some Led Zeppelin ( Richard Young on Vocals) to prove they can do anything! ( Wonder if that had anything to do with them playing the night before with Bret Michaels and Sebastian Bach at Operation Music Fest and Sebastian kept calling Doug Phelps Robert Plant ? ) Fred Did his Amazing Drum solo and had everyone hollering “ Go Fred Go!” near the end of the night Shed owner Scott Maddux joined them on stage to play guitar. and did a wonderful job as always! Then the end of the night they were joined on stage by The Members of The Georgia Thunderbolts! Topping off a Excellent night of Fantastic Music!!!
