Monsters On The Mountain Rock Festival Day two!
The Monsters on The Mountain Rock Festival in Pigeon Forge Tennessee continued and was in full swing Saturday Which was day two of the Festival .Lots of vendors and one which was very popular was Shining Sol Candles. Pete Evick ( Guitarist for Bret Michaels Band) was there himself on Friday Who graciously posed for a photo with his candles. It was even More crowded Saturday than Friday too. They Kicked things off Early Saturday. Around Noon with Anthony Corder ( Tora Tora Singer), Rhino Bucket, (and Vella Lavella Playing outside in the tailgate area.) The Rock Arena Had an acoustic set by John Corabi . John is always a favorite and did a great job entertaining everyone with songs and stories. Next up was The Pat Travers Band who kicked it up a notch and of course doing his smash hit “ Boom Boom Out Go The Lights” . ( Always fun seeing Pat play). Firehouse was Next . Lots of lights and beautiful backdrops made for a great set . Singer C.J. Snare had had surgery in September and was not able to play this show. They got Andrew Freeman to fill in. Andrew did a Fantastic Job and I enjoyed their set alot. C. J. is better and now has rejoined the band. Winger was up next. Kip Winger and Reb Beach was on point and did a fantastic job Rocking the crowd. Great set! They did all their hits and the crowd was singing along. Next Up was Tesla- They Just Flat Out Rocked! Very Impressive show and Lights. Did all their hits and had the crowd singing along. Their new Single “ Cold Blue Steel” is very cool be sure and check it out! Singer Jeff Keith was all over the stage and very entertaining. At one point he put on a baseball hat and tucked his long hair under it when he did the song “ Signs” and when he got to the part where it says “ I took off my hat imagine that me working for you” he took off his hat and tossed it. Very Awesome Set by them. The band Signal 13 was The after Party Band this day who did a great job keeping the music going a little longer.
Saturday was another Great day of Rock Music and all the Bands did a wonderful Job! I Just Highlighted some of the Amazing bands. Coming up Day 3! be sure to look for that article.
