Medicine Mann Has recently released their highly anticipated new double cd titled “ Blood Of The Fathers” and let me tell you it ROCKS!
Founding Members Rick Brave-Lion and David Peroy Petty met in 1983 and played in various bands together . They moved to Nashville Tennessee in 1987.
Medicine Mann formed in 1992 with founding members Rick Brave-Lion, David Peroy Petty, David Fair, Dee Adman. Rick Brave-Lion and David Peroy Petty had previously played in prominent bands so Medicine Mann already had a great fan base from the beginning. Their very second show they opened for 80’s rockers Quiet Riot. They went on from there opening for other Big Label acts such as Badlands, EZO, Enuff Z Nuff, Skid Row, Warrant, Black Label Society, Sevendust, Lynch Mob, Eve To Adam, and Pretty Boy Floyd. The Band had a few lineup changes over the years but key founders Rick Brave-Lion and David Peroy Petty being the constant members. They Added Kevin Musfeldt on bass in 2005 and it was just the three of them. Rick got custody of his son making life hard on the road he decided to step back and end the band so he could focus on raising his son. He left Nashville and moved to Oak Ridge Tennessee and found a great job. 2013 The band wanted to do a reunion show that led to the band reforming! But they needed a singer so one night David Peroy Petty went out to watch a local band and discovered Powerhouse Singer Extraordinaire Charlie Kavanagh!! And let me say I’ve seen Charlie several times and yes that guy CAN sing! what a voice! The band was now complete!

The New CD “ Blood Of The Fathers” Features songs that were written and developed over the last several years but some of the songs date back to the bands beginning. They have revamped those and they sound Awesome!

“ Show a Little Love” , “ Paint It Black” , “ Somber” , “ Metal Machine” , (Boy What a Scream Charlie lets out at the end! Phenomenal!) “ Heaven Or Hell” “ Long Way Home” “ Blinded By Hate” “ Hell Hole” “ Someday” ( its Very Melodic). “ Damaged” “ God Watches Over Me” “ Unto The End”. The Whole two CD album is Fantastic! so hard to choose. The Vocals are Phenomenal the Guitars are Excellent ! and the whole band is tight and sounds better than ever!!! It was Recorded in Murfreesboro, Tennessee at Red Feather Studio By David Dicks. BE SURE to check out this Band and add this Amazing Album to your collection as you will Not Regret it!
