New Project Captures the Electric Live Pulse and Honest Storytelling Behind His Fiercely Loyal Following

NASHVILLE, TN – (NOVEMBER 14, 2025) – Country trailblazer and Kentucky native JD Shelburne releases Raised on the Good Stuff, a new project produced by Mike Proctor, Bart Busch and Maks Gabriel. The music captures the electric live pulse and honest storytelling behind his fiercely loyal following. Marking his seventh album since moving to Nashville in 2008, the release stands as the next stepping stone in an unbelievable journey, built on longevity, fan connection across the U.S., and more than 3,000 performances, including his Grand Ole Opry debut on July 5, 2025. On the heels of a breakthrough year, Shelburne delivers his vocal best across ten songs and a bonus track penned by some of Nashville’s top tunesmiths, bottling the energy and believability that power one of country music’s most devoted fan bases.
The new project is available on all music platforms HERE.
Shelburne reflects, “I knew we’d have to work extra hard to put out an album that takes my career another step forward,” he says, “and thanks to the great team of musicians, songwriters, and studio aces I have got around me, we were able to do just that. I couldn’t be prouder of the work we’ve done.” He added, “My dreams have been coming true thanks to the greatest fans anywhere and their love for my songs and storytelling,” he says. “They got to know me when I was playing tiny venues, and they’re with me now that I’m also playing on some of the biggest stages in the world. I’m so glad they’re taking this journey with me, and I’m hoping this record will bring even more people into this musical family.”
“JD, in my opinion, is arguably the hardest working independent artist in the music business. It’s no mystery why JD continues to have doors open for him…his kind of work ethic and energy make you want to get on board, so I did. We’ve written some great songs together, but he’s always listening for a hit and unafraid to cut an outside song. This gets writers like me excited. It’s old school, but it still works! JD continues to mature and define himself as an artist, so I have no doubt this new album will be his best. It’s one great song after another…quite a collection, hard to pick a favorite! I love everything from the lighthearted “Baby’s Talkin’ Babies” to the heart-crushing “Break Up With Me”. This album is you continuing to mature as an artist, and I look forward to seeing which songs become fan favs,” – Award Winning Songwriter Mark Nesler.
