Nashville, Tenn. — February 20, 2026 — “Budding country music star” (PeopleBrooke Lee is inviting listeners on a road trip through her formative years as she reflects on her journey to adulthood. From carefree young love to heartbreak to self-discovery, Brooke’s six-song EP, Desert Darling (rel. April 17), is relatable and rooted in personal experience.

“My years from 19 to 25 were filled with stories and growth, and, as this chapter closes, I wanted to share the moments that impacted me most,” reveals Brooke. “’Desert Darling’ is a snapshot of my journey from a young, free-spirited 19-year-old who fell head over heels, had her heart broken, who sometimes still wonders if she’ll find that kind of love again, and now is at peace with where she is. It’s also about the girl with a best friend to share all her secrets with, and the woman learning to live fully for herself.”

Written by Brooke and Danielle Blakey, who also produced the project, the EP’s title track, “Desert Darling,” available now, is about falling in love when every moment feels electric, timeless, and impossible to let go.

“Those first conversations with someone can hold so much magic,” shares Brooke. “Dancing in new arms can make you feel alive in a way nothing else can. Getting to know someone and falling for the little things you learn leaves you completely mesmerized. You never want the butterflies to end or the rush to fade. It’s young, passionate, and a love that feels like it can take on the world.”

As a writer on all six sides, Brooke wanted the music to feel authentic and reflect her live shows, including recent dates opening for NEEDTOBREATHE, so she invited her longtime touring band to track with her in the studio.

“I’m obsessed with road trips, so I intentionally crafted the songs and production to feel like the perfect soundtrack for a long drive- free, reflective, and becoming my own.”

After partnering with Chevrolet for the launch of its new “See The USA In Your Chevrolet” campaign, Brooke will be back on the road starting next month for headlining shows including Charleston, SC (March 5 @ Limbo/The Refinery), Charlotte, NC (April 16 @ Amos Southend) and Atlanta, GA (April 17 @ Eddie’s Attic). Since arriving, Lee has honed her craft in songwriting rooms with Spirit Music Publishing and signed with CAA.

Lukas Nelson) to anthems like “So Beautiful.” With over 115k social followers and 5 million career streams, her sophomore EP, Desert Darling, will release April 17, 2026.

In celebration of America’s 250th, Brooke is collaborating with Chevy to record and release a modern interpretation of “See The USA In The Chevrolet,” originally popularized by Dinah Shore. Brooke also appears in the new spot, which debuted during the ’26 Winter Olympics opening ceremony, singing IRL from the tailgate of a 2026 Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 that was airlifted to the top of Castle Rock in Utah.

Rooted in emotion and real-life experience, Brooke’s voice is marked by grit and a natural rasp, backed by a range that gives her songs weight and staying power. Writing from lived experience, her storytelling approach to songwriting balances vulnerability and strength with honest songs that feel both deeply personal and universally resonant.
