| NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Country music legend T.G. Sheppard marks the 45th anniversary of his signature No. 1 hit “I Loved ’Em Every One,” originally released in March 1981 as the lead single from his Top 10 album I Love ’Em All. Written by Phil Sampson, the track became Sheppard’s seventh chart-topping single on the Billboard country chart and a Top 40 position on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 37, further cementing its place as one of the most memorable songs of his career. “I remember leaving the studio the day we recorded ‘I Loved ’Em Every One’ and thinking to myself that we had just cut a career-altering song. Most artists wait a lifetime for that one magic song that takes their career to another level, and ‘I Loved ’Em Every One’ was that song for me. After hitting No. 1 on the country charts, it even crossed over to the pop charts, reaching the Top 40—not bad for a song that sat in a closet at Tree Publishing for 10 years before I found it.” — T.G. Sheppard Sheppard first topped the charts with his debut #1 single, “Devil in the Bottle,” released in October 1974. The song quickly climbed to #1 on the U.S. country singles chart, remaining in the Top 40 for ten weeks and launching an extraordinary career. Over the years, Sheppard has amassed an impressive 22 #1 hits, including timeless favorites like “Last Cheater’s Waltz,” “I’ll Be Coming Back for More,” “Party Time,” “Only One You,” “I Loved ‘Em Every One,” “Slow Burn,” and more while celebrating his 50th Anniversary Tour throughout the country.
