North Carolina Native and Nashville Recording artist/ Country Singer Lee Newton Recently Opened Up for The Award Winning and Grand Ole Opry Vocal Group Diamond Rio. The Show was The Kick off to the Celebrity Concerts held at The Country Tonight Theater In Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Brought to you by Brian Orr and East Tennessee Concerts and Country Tonight Theater.
Lee Has Opened For and Played With Several Big Named Artists over the years. Like Randy Travis, Ronnie Milsap, The Gatlin Brothers, TG Sheppard, Leona Williams, The Oak Ridge Boys and some of the Original Members Of The Southern Rock Group Lynyrd Skynyrd among many more. She’s Played at The Grand Ole Opry and has been Featured In Forbes Magazine and Wins Big Every year at the Josie Awards in Nashville Tennessee. She Has been Named Country Vocalist of The Year at the Josie Awards. She Volunteers raising money for The Veterans and Toys for tots. All while being a Wife and Mother To her son. She’s one busy lady!

Lee Took to the stage at Country Tonight theater all smiles and did a mixture of Cover songs, Like The Terri Clark song “I Got Better Things To Do” and some of her original songs. One Of Lees Original songs is called Carolina Rain paying homage to her Carolina Roots. Its a very touching heartfelt song , It will definitely touch your heart. She has a very beautiful soulful voice. She grew up listening to the country greats like Hank Williams, Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette. Speaking of the Greats, She had a Big surprise for the Audience. She had recorded a cover of the Classic Song “ Silver Threads and Golden Needles” . (Which at one time was recorded by Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette and Dolly Parton.) So to the Audience Surprise Lee Brought out Heidi Parton ( Dolly Partons Niece ) and Georgette Jones ( Daughter Of Tammy Wynette and George Jones) . The Crowd was elated and They Did a Fantastic Cover for the Very first time Live on The Country tonight stage.! ( See Video Below).

It Was Great! They Sounded Phenomenal together. Their voices blended so well.
