Country music festivals are summers biggest parties and this years Hoedown in the holler is going to be just that. This festival has been going strong for it’s now seventh consecutive year. In years past this festival was in the fall, but now it has been moved to the summer. The festival will be held on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6 at Mandolin Farm in Flemingsburg, Ky.
Headlining this year is Jason Micheal Carroll! This country music artist with smash hits like “Alisa Lies”, “Living Our Love Song”, and “I can sleep when I’m dead”; and his latest hits such as “God Only Knows” and “What Color Is Your Sky”. Jason, thrilling fans with his high energetic performances, is the first artist to return back to Hoedown in the Holler for a second time. He headlined the festival in 2014 and with such a big demand he has returned yet again! Jason will take to the stage on Saturday August 6th.
Rising country music artist, Dylan Scott will be performing on Friday, August 5th. Dylan, who is on tour currently with Lee Bryce brings his “old soul with a young spirit” following in his fathers footsteps as he’s breaking his own way into Nashville. His viral success with music lovers with over 13 million views of his videos on YouTube and nearly 200,000 Facebook fans is making this artist a must to see before he blows up.Dylan Scott’s singles include “Lay It On Me” and “Makin’ This Boy Go Crazy”.
Camp sites are available and are $60 for the weekend, including water and electric. Reservations for campsites are currently being accepted. Camping was sold out in 2014 and 2015. The full schedule of bands performing on Friday and Saturday will be released soon.
