Dee Snider to Release Solo Record on October 28

Hold on tight Twisted Sister fans! Front man Dee Snider has ventured out on his own with his solo album We Are the Ones set to be released on October 28 on Red River Records. The album boasts ten fantastically written tracks including a stripped down version of “We’re Not Gonna’ Take It” and an incredible cover of Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like a Hole”. We Are the Ones is well stylized and it showcases Dee’s heavy sound and musical style. The album opens with the title track, “We Are the Ones”, a driving, solid, anthem that sets the tone for the rest of the album. “Over Again” and “Close to You” feature intense percussive elements combined with fiery vocals and Dee’s characteristic screams. Snider’s inclusion of “We’re Not Gonna Take It” lends a new perspective to the classic track, with its piano cords and acoustic quality.  “Believe” is a unique track with its constant momentum and energy. Snider’s version of Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like a Hole” does great justice to Trent Reznor’s original track as the synth and drum track are well persevered. This combined with Dee’s convincing vocal quality nearly begs the listener to believe that this track was destined to be covered by Dee Snider. “Superhero”, with its crafty lyricism and backbeat, that stands out from the rest of the album rounds out the album with only “So What” to finish off the album.

Dee Snider’s We Are the Ones is a worth-while listen. Seasoned fans and new listeners alike will be able to connect with the record’s well-rounded track listing and modern hard rock sound. Don’t hesitate to add this album to your catalog this October! We Are the Ones will be released in digital formats. Copies of the album will also be available on Dee Snider’s website
