J.D. your new album “Two Lane Town” is releasing this Saturday at your release party. How excited are you right now?

Super excited.  I have been planning this event for the last 8 months and it is all finally coming together.  The album is ready, the stage and sound is enroute and the weather looks wonderful. I anticipate a special night in my hometown.

When picking the tracks to put on this album, can you walk us through the process you used to select the tracks?

I always felt I knew a great song when I heard one.  It doesn’t take me long to hear a great song.  I spent a lot of time on this album picking out great tunes and writing songs that I felt were songs I could relate too.  It has been a long process but I am confident fans will love this new sound.

What does this album mean to you?

It’s my 4th independent album out of Nashville and it’s my best work yet. I feel this album can take me to places that I havent been yet.  It’s full of great songs with captive melodies that I think fans will latch on too.  I have been lucky to colorabrate with some of Nashville best songwriters..

Obviously there have been ideas of what will be the first single off the album, will fans find out Saturday?

I have some ideas, but fans can help me decide Saturday.
