Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmaster’s headline Music Feeds Concert Series

Billy Bob Thornton and his band The Boxmasters played The Tennessee Ampitheater at the Worlds Fair Park for the Music Feeds Concert Series to Benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.
Opening the show was The Chillbillies a well liked band from Tennessee. Who did an excellent job warming up the crowd.
While Billy Bob is an academy award winning actor says “He never intended to be a movie star it just happened accidentially.” He has always loved music since middle school. Hes worked as a roadie for The Nitty Gritty Dirt band, Blood Sweat n Tears, Johnny Paycheck among others. Hes also been in several tribute bands. He founded the Boxmasters in 2007. They have released 8 albums focused on the 1960s . Billy Bobs stage name is “Bud” .
J.D. Andrew (Guitarist/Vocals) is also a grammy award winning recording engineer. Whos worked with the Rolling Stones, Kanye West among others.
Teddy Andreadis (Organ/ Piano) Who was born to greek parents has played with Carol King, Guns n Roses, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Alice Cooper . He was voted outstanding keyboardist of the year in 1999 at the L.A. Music Awards. His video work includes Michael Jackson “Give into me” Guns n Roses “November Rain” and more. Also with the band is Kirk Mckim (Guitarist) who Has been a guitarist since age 14. Kirk plays with the Boxmasters and has also played with The Pat Travers Band. Billy Bob , J.D. and Teddy are The Boxmasters! The Band come out wearing coveralls with name badges (sometimes its suits depending on the venue). Tonights show was coveralls since it was an outside show. The night was a hot and muggy Tennessee Thursday night. During the concert Billy Bob tells stories leading into his songs which make for a very interesting show. Billy Bob has some very interesting songs including ”Kathy Don’t Share” “Science Fiction” “Summertime in L.A.” to name a few .
