Drivin n Cryin Play The Shed Maryville Tennessee

Drivin N Cryin Headlined The Shed Show In Maryville Tn.

The American Hard Rock/ Southern Rock Band Drivin N Cryin came to Maryville Tennessee to play the Big ( and popular! ) outdoor covered stage called The Shed. The Shed which is part of the Smoky Mountain Harley Dealership is located in Maryville Tennessee.
It was a stormy morning but afternoon and early evening was wonderful. But it did start raining later in the evening as Drivin n Cryin were playing but the crowd didn’t mind. They kept Rockin out.
Opening the Show was Knoxville’s own Rockabilly band The Royal Hounds who always put on a great and interesting show.

Drivin N Cryin The Atlanta based band formed in 1985 . Their sound is unique because as their name suggests they play Drivin Rock songs and slower “Cryin” songs . which they have been perfecting for over 30 years!
Founding member Kevn Kinney still sounds Great! He can Still belt out those Rockin songs!! Looking cool on stage wearing his dark sunglasses and jaming out on his guitars. At one point in the show he changed to an accoustic guitar. DSC_1999
Tim Nielsen sounds just as good as he always has and the fans loved him.
Rounding out the band is drummer Dave V. Johnson and Laur Joamets who make up the rest of and complete Drivin N Cryin.

They did alot of different songs and I was a little surprised the played their famous and popular song “ Fly Me Courageous” early into the show ( like the 4th song). But it sounded phenominal live! Later in the night they did their song called “Straight To Hell” which had everyone swaying and dancing around.
We also got to hear a new song off their soon to be released album. It sounded wonderful and I for one can’t wait for the new album!
The New Album titled “ Live The Love Beautiful” is available for Pre-order Now and the release date is June 21st 2019. go to their website for more info.

Be sure to see them if you get a chance. They put on a great show!
