| Releases New Single “Never Met A Man I Didn’t Love,” The Answer Song To T.G. Sheppard’s “I Loved ‘Em Every One” Today |

“For years, I kept waiting for someone to come up with an “answer” song to my hit “I Loved ‘Em Every One.” I never dreamed it would be my better half, Kelly, who would write it and perform it. The first time I heard it I was totally shocked at how well she had crafted the song while making it her own. Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do.” – T.G. Sheppard
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Acclaimed singer-songwriter, producer and author Kelly Lang is excited to release her latest single, “Never Met A Man I Didn’t Love,” from her forthcoming album, Jealous Green Eyes. Serving as the official answer song to her husband, country music legend T.G. Sheppard’s hit “I Loved ’Em Every One,” the new single offers the story from a woman’s perspective, proving men are not the only ones who can claim to have loved them all. Sponsored by Gus Arrendale and Springer Mountain Farms and premiered by RFD-TV, “Never Met A Man I Didn’t Love” delivers a fun, witty twist on the country classic while showcasing Lang’s signature charm and storytelling.
“I wrote “Never Met a Man I Didn’t Love” with Mark Oliverius many years ago after we had a conversation about T.G.’s song, “I Loved ‘Em Every One.” He asked me about it, and I grinned because I was always getting asked in interviews how I felt knowing T.G. had “loved ’em every one.” We got a good laugh out of it, and I decided the best way to answer that question was to write a tongue-in-cheek song in my own defense! It’s all in good fun, and I absolutely love singing it on stage. Hearing the ladies scream in solidarity never gets old!” – Kelly Lang

“Never Met A Man I Didn’t Love” Lyrics
I’ve been from sea to shining sea with a pack of men left behind me, but never met a man I didn’t love.
I knew a boy in Mississippi
He sure knew how to kiss me
never met a man I didn’t love
there’s a cowboy out in Oklahoma
a dentist out in Arizona
never met a man I didn’t love
I new a mailman out in Denver
ooh boy could he deliver
never met a man I didn’t love
I loved them short and I’ve loved them tall
some had hair and some were bald, rich or poor it don’t matter to me
from men in suits to men in boots doctors, lawyers, musicians too things I love in all men I see
there’s something in all the above.
Yeah, I’ve never met a man I didn’t love
I like em young and I like em old
and in between they’re good as gold never met a man I didn’t love
I like em dark and I like em blonde and men in uniforms turn me on never met a man I didn’t love
Lang recently released her previous single, “This Too Shall Pass,” a heartfelt anthem of hope, strength and perseverance that continues to resonate with listeners facing life’s challenges. Through her signature storytelling and soulful delivery, the song offers comfort, encouragement and a reminder to hold on to faith, knowing that even the most difficult seasons will eventually pass. “This Too Shall Pass” premiered digitally with GodTube.
“It seems like everyone is carrying some kind of storm these days. I wrote ‘This Too Shall Pass’ as a reminder to hold on just one more day because brighter days are ahead. But one of my favorite parts of the song is the reminder to hold on to the good times, too, because they also pass by so quickly. At its heart, it’s a song of hope, encouragement, and resilience, something I think we could all use a little more of these days.” – Kelly Lang
Her new album, Jealous Green Eyes, features 11 self-penned or co-written songs that leave no stone unturned, exploring life, love, heartbreak and divorce through Lang’s signature storytelling. Leading up to the album’s Aug. 7 release, she has given fans a preview with the singles “I Reach for Red,” “HollyWould,” “This Too Shall Pass” and “Never Met A Man I Didn’t Love,” each offering a glimpse into the deeply personal stories found throughout the project.
