New Single and Music Video Arrive Today
Legendary Country Group Set to Headline Historic Ryman Auditorium Next Week

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 23, 2026) — GRAMMY® Award-winning, multi-platinum-selling country group and 8 Track Entertainment recording artist Shenandoah joins forces with rising country powerhouse Alexandra Kay for “Scares Me More,” a new single and music video out today. The collaboration showcases Kay’s distinctive vocals alongside Shenandoah’s unmistakable harmonies, bringing a fresh dimension to a new recording from one of country music’s most enduring acts.
Kay has built a devoted following through her powerful vocals, heartfelt songwriting and an unmistakable connection with audiences. Her collaboration with Shenandoah brings together generations of country music fans in a partnership rooted in the emotional honesty that has defined the genre for decades.
“I was so happy when AK agreed to do this song with us,” says Shenandoah frontman Marty Raybon. “She is one of the best new vocalists in Country Music. If you’re a Shenandoah fan, this song will not disappoint.”
“I’ve loved Shenandoah for so long, they’re one of those bands whose songs were just always part of my world,” explains Kay. “So getting to actually sing on this record with them is a pinch-me thing. Marty’s become a real friend to me, which makes it even more special. Getting to stand next to someone whose voice I’ve admired for years and harmonize with him, I’m just so grateful for this one. It’s going to mean a lot to me forever.”
The new music arrives during a milestone period for Shenandoah. On October 28, the group will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a special headlining performance at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium — a career first for the band. Shenandoah is also slated to join Luke Combs on his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour in 2027, bringing its signature sound to audiences alongside one of country music’s biggest contemporary stars.
“Scares Me More” will be included on Shenandoah’s forthcoming country album. Details on the project will be released in the coming weeks.
