Dylan Schneider‘s newest EP takes its title from the country singer’s age, but the six tracks on “17” reveal a performer with talent well beyond his years. With a modern-day country sound infused with pop and rock, this young artist has the potential to become a country sensation.

Less than a year onto the music scene Schneider has already made a huge impact. With 600,000 followers on social media and growing daily Schneider is building a solid fan base. He started out posting cover videos on YouTube and it led to the Indiana native making his way to music city to record his first EP “Wannabe” which released Aug 19th and has been followed by “17”.

“I would say it’s definitely a newer sound of country music,” Schneider tells Billboard. “It’s not exactly too pop or too country. It’s definitely got a rock element, and I think that people can have a good time listening to it. I think it’s just fun sounding music. That’s what it is to me.”
