Denny Laine Wows Fans at The Open Chord in Knoxville Tennessee

Grammy award winner Denny Laine, Original Member of the band The Moody Blues and whom was also founding member of the band Wings With Sir Paul McCartney played a show at the Open Chord All Things Music Venue in Knoxville Tennessee on September 14, 2017. The Open Chord is many things. Its a Music School, a Music Store, and a Live Music venue. With music nearly every night of the week with every genre of music you can imagine. This is Not Dennys first time Playing the Open Chord. This is his third time playing there to a packed house every time. Denny has also worked with The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Cream, The Hollys Just to name a few.

Denny did a mix of music some of his own and some of the wings music. including “Go Now ” , “Mull Of Kintyre”,” Picassos last words,” ” Live and Let Die”, closing out the night with a rousing rendition of ” Band On The Run”. Denny also tells stories in between songs about his time with Paul McCartney and John Lennon. which is always a treat.

Denny is celebrating over 50 years of music and stories this year. New Denny Laine Singles ” Meant To Be” and “Over The Horizon” available at itunes, amazon music, google play. Opening for Denny was The Cryers Band. Headed by Joe Orlando. The Cryers are a very upbeat premier band that the fans love. Be sure to check them out as they also have been backing Denny Laine for the last 10 years. They Have played with many others too including The Pete Best Band, Jefferson Starship, Joey Molland of Badfinger, Connie Francis, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The Platters, The Coasters, The Drifters and more.
