Denny Laine who just turned 74 this past October is still going strong. He is a Founding Member of The Moody Blues Band and a Founding member of The popular Wings Band with Sir Paul Mccartney and is still touring. He also was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Along with THe Moody Blues and WELL DESERVED! He played The popular Open Chord All Things Music venue again making this his 3rd or 4th time playing there. This time Denny was solo doing only an accoustic set just him and his guitar.
Denny Played Lots of songs including “Mull Of Kintyre” “Go Now”
and he ended his show with the popular song “ Ghost of Scrimshaw Carver”
Now In between Songs Denny was telling stories about him and Paul Mccartney, John Paul Jones Bassist of Led Zeppelin, Ginger Baker, Drummer for Cream, John Lennon, John Bonham drummer of Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and Paul Simon. Boy does he have stories! Very interesting to hear of all his adventures.
