Johnny: My beautiful new bride Morgan. This will be our first Christmas together.

Do you have any Christmas traditions? If not, are there any that you would like to try or start?

Johnny: So silly but my mom has a life-size cut out movie poster of Padmé from the Star Wars prequel trilogy that we all stick our heads in and take a photo…But it’s something we’ve done for years now! So silly!

How long did you believe in Santa?

Do you do your Christmas shopping early, or do you wait last second?

Johnny: I’m pretty bad…most years it’s last minute but since I met my wife, I’ve gotten a bit better. Maybe because she’s really good at sending me links to the stuff she would like for Christmas.

What does Christmas mean to you?

Johnny: Early on it was about good memories of being a kid and being with my immediate family. Now it’s becoming a whole new meaningful time to spend with my wife and start new traditions.

Favorite dish for the holiday?

Johnny: Don’t really get them like I used to, but I’ll never forget my Grandma’s baked sweet potatoes…Man were they good! I’ve tried for years to duplicate them, but no one made those sweet potatoes like my Grandma Paulie!!

Do you enjoy decorating and are you typically full of the Christmas spirit?

Johnny: I’m a bit of a Scrooge to be honest…Ha Ha!  It drives me crazy how early they start bringing out the Christmas stuff in the stores. But once we get closer to the actual holiday itself, I come around and like having a tree and maybe a few stockings hanging over the fireplace.

Christmas dinner: ham or turkey?

Johnny: I’d say ham…especially if it’s one of those killer honey-baked numbers! Yum!

Are there any Christmas tunes you like to put on to set the Christmas mood?

Johnny: Not really….I borderline despise Christmas music…but I do like “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer!!”

Johnny: Spending time with family…new and old in Denver, CO.

Does snow really make it feel Christmas or could you live without snow?

Johnny: I grew up in Colorado, but you’d never know it…I really don’t like snow or even being cold at all! So yes, I could do without snow for the rest of my life…lol

We see it every year, something new is made smelling or tasting like pumpkin spice. What are your thoughts? Overkill, bring it on, or really do not care?

Johnny: I’m ok with it…not my all-time favorite scent in the world but it definitely puts your mind in the spirit of the season.
