In contrast to the dark metal bands that frequent the NorVa, locals were treated to the bright lights and vibrant sounds of Starset. A cross between alternative and electronic rock, their latest album, Horizons, was released in October of 2021. But the audience was in for a surprise when violinist, Siobhán Richards, and celloist, Zuzana Engererova, took the stage on opposite sides, with their unsuspecting instruments, while enveloped in a cloak of fog. Combine that with the dynamic vocals of Dustin Bates and you have Starset!
Opening for Starset was Divide the Fall, Oni, and Red, more traditional rock/metal bands.
