Definitely hot chocolate! It’s a safe option that never goes wrong and warms you up!
Do you have a favorite holiday scent?
I love the cinnamon apple scent. It gives me that Christmas feeling and reminds me of great memories of Christmas with my family and friends.
What are you most thankful for this year?
I’m most thankful for all my friends, family, and all the opportunities that have blessed me this year!
Do you enjoy decorating?
I don’t enjoy decorating, but I do enjoy looking at the decorations and experiencing the magical feeling they bring.
Let’s settle the debate: does the Christmas tree go up after Halloween or after Thanksgiving?
The Christmas tree goes up after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a day to celebrate with your family and friends and reflect on all the blessings you’ve received throughout the year. It should have its special day!

Do you have any Christmas traditions? If not, are there any that you would like to try or start?
My family has a couple of traditions. One is that my mom bakes sausage balls on Christmas morning – a great way to wake up in the morning! Another tradition we have involves a pickle ornament. My dad will hide it in the tree and the first kid to find it gets to open the first gift.
How long did you believe in Santa?
I think I believed in Santa till I was about 10ish.
Do you do your Christmas shopping early, or are you a last second shopper?
I’m a little bit of both because I get some gifts early on, but then I start worrying if I got enough or forgot someone and I go again at the last minute.
What does Christmas mean to you?
Christmas means we get to celebrate the birth of Jesus!
We all know Christmas dinners mean some of the dishes that we’ve been craving like homemade dressing, grandma’s turkey and ham. What is the dish you are most looking forward to digging into come Christmas dinner?
The one dish that I get most excited about is my Nena’s carrot cake. There is no other carrot cake that is like hers.
What are your plans this year for Christmas?
I plan on putting my phone down and spending as much time as possible with my fiancé and my family.
Do you have to have snow to really make it feel like Christmas or could you live without it?
Living in the south you’d be lucky if it’s even cold on Christmas, so I could live without snow.
Are there any Christmas tunes you like to put on to set the Christmas mood?
I love to put on the old classic Christmas music.
We see it every year, something new is made smelling or tasting like pumpkin spice. What are your thoughts? Overkill, bring it on, or really do not care?
Overkill, I am not a big fan of pumpkin spice.
Do you have any memorable Christmas memories from your childhood or recent that make Christmas a memorable time of year?
I remember one Christmas my parents made us do a scavenger hunt to find our presents, which was such a cool idea because they had us running around finding clues to our next present.
