Country Outlaw and The Voice Star Jordan Rainer Drops Revolutionary and Controversial New Independent Record

NASHVILLE, TENN. — Country outlaw and The Voice standout Jordan Rainer is ushering in a new era of music with the release of her powerful bold new album, The Outlaw Revival, available now through her immersive, fan platform The Outlaw Revival Universe. You may remember Jordan as the “girl in the sunglasses” from Team Reba on NBC’s The Voice. America fell in love with her instantly as the quick-witted, shoot-from-the-hip contestant that left producers sweating and never knowing what she was going to say on live TV. Now, three years later, this gritty, tele-slinging, fire-spitting outlaw country artist returns with her most fearless and defining work to date – an unapologetic record that pushes boundaries both sonically and culturally. Blending outlaw country grit with sharp storytelling and electrifying musicianship, The Outlaw Revival features creative collaborations with some of country music’s biggest names including Reba McEntire, Ashley McBryde, Jay Demarcus of Rascal Flatts, and legendary producer Ilya Toshishinskiy (Kane Brown, Jelly Roll and many more). The result is a bold, cohesive body of work rooted in authenticity, rebellion, and raw truth. At its core, the album explores the complexities of modern womanhood through a deeply personal lens. Across its 10 tracks, Jordan tackles themes of identity, resilience, and self-discovery—addressing topics such as divorce, faith deconstruction, coming out, standing up for domestic violence survivors, not fitting the mold and being your authentic self, working at Walmart, finding love, seeking adventure, and so much more. This project is deep-seated in symbolism and rich with meaning,” Jordan states. “It’s about breaking through the expectations placed on you and choosing to live fully and honestly – no matter the cost.”
Dubbed as “The Outlaw Queen” by her fans for her trademark all-black dress code, flat-brimmed hat, dark sunglasses, and her notorious “workin’ middle finger and broken give-a-damn,” she brings an edge to country that has not been seen or heard from any other female in the genre. The “revival,” according to Jordan, shows up in a multitude of ways– from how the music is released, to the story behind the music itself. “We are reviving the old way of releasing music directly to the fans instead of relying so heavily on streaming platforms.”
The entire project was fully funded through fan pre-sales, which has made this record especially meaningful for both Jordan and her fans. Jordan chose to challenge the traditional industry models by creating her own individual platform from scratch where her fans could experience the record in a brand-new way, and connect with it even deeper. This is what she calls “The Outlaw Revival Universe” which is accessible exclusively at jordanrainerofficial.com/theoutlawrevival – a portal where the listener can immerse themselves in all 10 songs, as well as unreleased behind-the-scenes videos, album liners, lyric sheets and more. While two of the tracks are currently available on streaming platforms (with more to come), the full album can only be experienced on jordanrainerofficial.com.
The album also marks a significant personal milestone for Jordan, who recently came out as queer in a genre that has not always been inclusive. Her decision to share this part of her identity is woven throughout the project, adding another layer of vulnerability and purpose. “It was an undeniable step forward I had to take in order to be real and to feel fully present in my own skin. I wouldn’t be true to my message or anything I stand for if I hid this part of myself any longer. I am who I am, and I know there are lots of people out there just like me who need to feel that country music is a safe space to belong and be represented.”
Visually, the album continues this narrative of transformation. Its stained-glass-inspired artwork, subtly infused with rainbow hues, symbolizes both restriction and release. “Every woman has a glass ceiling to burst through, and mine was stained glass. It was rigidity. It was control. It was a lifetime of being told how and who to be. That stained glass is shattered on the floor now and the Outlaw Revival is in full swing.”The Outlaw Revival Track Listing:1.    Where The Cowboys Are (Liz Hengber, Autumn McEntire, Jordan Rainer)2.    Love Like That (Kevin Brandt, Joel Shoemacke, Jordan Rainer)3.    The Girl You Left (Janelle Arthur, Jordan Rainer)4.    The Axe (Janelle Arthur, Jordan Rainer)5.    The Night I Drank With Tanya (Liz Hengber, Autumn McEntire, Jordan Rainer)6.    Tumbleweed (Kevin Brandt, Brett Boyett, Jordan Rainer)7.    Days Of Thunder (Ashley McBryde, Liz Hengber, Autumn McEntire)8.    Heartbreak Town (Liz Hengber, Autumn McEntire, Jordan Rainer)9.    Walmart’s Hiring (Reba McEntire, Kevin Brandt, Jordan Rainer)10.  Long Time Comin’ (Will Nance, Jordan Rainer)
All in all, this collection of 10 songs is a milestone in Jordan’s career laced with brilliant musicianship, validation and collaboration with some of country’s biggest stars, honesty, heart-pulling lyrics, and it will undoubtedly leave a resounding impact on the world as it tells stories of empowerment, rebirth, authenticity, fun, adventure, and love.
