“Hey old man are you listening
I know my life’s been full of sin
Prob’ly got no chance of getting in
That’s how some Sunday mornings go
When it’s me and God and a fishing pole”

“A fly rod on the river, a cork in a pond, horseback riding deep in the Wyoming wilderness, laying on my back to watch the stars, to contemplate the vastness of the universe, these are all moments that bring me closer to God,” shares Ewing. “They remind me how fragile and fleeting our physical journey is as a spiritual being walking the earth. Fishing may be the reason we choose to go, but communion with nature is the real gift, whether we catch fish or not. Life is still an unfathomable mystery to me, one for which I have great reverence. ‘And I don’t think I’m the only one…’”

“Me & God and a Fishing Pole” ships to country radio on April 28, impacting on May 25. The single follows a successful campaign with “I Want It All,” a multi-week No. 1 on CDXTRACtion True Indie country singles chart, including 11 weeks in the Top 5, and Mediabase Activator chart Top 50, spending 11 consecutive weeks in the Country Aircheck magazine Top 60.
