Official Video available on August 7

NASHVILLE, TN – (Jul.17, 2026) – Acclaimed singer-songwriter Linda Imperial gives a voice to the deafening silence of a relationship unraveling in her new single, “Your Silence Is Deadly.” Driven by raw frustration, loneliness and the need to be heard, the track confronts the emotional toll of loving someone who has become increasingly distant and disconnected. Turning the familiar phrase “silence is golden” on its head, Imperial captures the painful space between two people who were once “so rock and roll,” but now find themselves separated by unanswered questions, absent emotion and the kind of silence that can cut deeper than words. Available for pre-save now and available to radio via PlayMPE on July 24, 2026.

“Linda Imperial sounds all the more like the seasoned indie star she should be regarded as,”– Daily Pop

“Silence can sometimes hurt more than the words we’re afraid to say. This song came from that place where everything left unspoken begins to carry its own weight, creating distance, loneliness and damage that can be hard to undo. Sometimes, the silence really is the loudest part of a relationship,” — Linda Imperial.

“Your silence is deadly
It’s killing my dream
Your lack of emotions
Not my thing
You care for no one,
No one but you,
You’re giving me, a mean ass kind of blues!

Your silence is lonely, it’s killing my soul,
We were so good together,
So rock and roll,
Now there’s nothing between us,
Just empty space,
The way you ignore me,
It’s like a slap in my face

I need more from you…, to be my man
I need someone who understands,
They say silence is golden, but not with you
When it comes to my lovin’, you haven’t a clue!…”
