Jonathan Jackson came into the spotlight as Lucky Spencer on ABC’s “General Hospital”. Jackson would accumulate 5 Emmy awards as Lucky Spencer. Most recently Jonathan is known for his role as Avery Barkley in ABC’s “Nashville”. With the recent news of the cancellation of “Nashville”, rumors are speculating another company picking up the program as fans are holding out hope and signing petitions. Jonathan Jackson is an accomplished singer songwriter whose talent will continue to be displayed through his music with or without “Nashville”. The newly released EP, “Blameshifter” features 5 new Jonathan Jackson and Enation songs plus a bonus download of Jonathan’s version of “Unchained Melody” performed live at The Grand Ole Opry. Jonathan Jackson and Enation is one of the premier Indie bands in the music scene today. Influences of blues, rock and country can be heard in the new “Blameshifter” EP as Jackson belts out the lyrics showcasing the versatility of his vocals from a smooth haunting tone in “Alleluia” to a grunge rock sound in “Let The Beauty Out”. “Blameshifter” is the beginning of a new independently relased full length album due out later this year.
