The Chillbillies Play Music Feeds Concert Series

The Chillbillies Play The Tennessee Ampitheater Knoxville Tennessee For The Music Feeds Concert Series to Benefit The Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.

The Chillbillies a local band out of Knoxville Tennessee  who consider their music “Rhythm Boogie Blues” are Knoxvilles Premier party band that never practices. They Dont need to with all their experience.
They played at the Tennessee Ampitheater at the Worlds Fair Park. (Home of the 1982 Worlds Fair. ) August 9th 2018 opening for Billy Bob Thorton.
The Chillbillies are not your run of the mill local band. They have played with alot of famous people.Having various taste in music they play a little bit of everything from Jimmy Buffett, The Marshall Tucker Band to Johnny Cash .
Tim Irwin (Vocals/Guitar) is also a sitting Judge and sports agent who played football at the University of Tennessee.
Larry Patton (Bass) Runs a music studio in Cookville Tennessee. He has also played with others including Ronnie Milsap, Hank Williams Jr. Ricky Skaggs, Delbert McClinton. He has also driven the bus for acts like Reba, Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks and more.
Don Taylor is a Former FBI Agent who also played flute and horns for Lynyrd Skynyrd back in the 1980s. Don Grew up with Artimus Pyle (Lynyrd Skynyrd) . in 1959 in 6th grade he and Artimus were in band together. Later in life he played with Artimus in the Artimus Pyle Band.
George Massengill (Keyboards/Vocals) used to play in a local band called “Southfork” in Jamestown Tennessee with Artimus Pyle (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and Don Taylor. They had recorded the state song “Coming Home” and can be found at http://www.fentressco.com
George is also a licensed Alcohol and Drug counselor when hes not performing with the Chillbillies. Rounding out the Chillbillies are the Fantastic Adam Helton ( Drums )whos Keeping the beat going  and Lewel Mollen On Guitar!
