Hard Rockers Red Calling has debuted their new single and music video “Torture.” Led by frontwoman Jessica Pons’ strong and exotic vocals, the track is about not hanging on to one’s hurt anymore and finding relief through a special relationship, a calming voice. This unique voice can silence the torture inside our heads. It’s been a crazy year full of anxiety, fear, depression, uncertainty and mental health issues that have been a second pandemic.
This hard rock track flirts with metal but maintains a melodic center. “Torture” mixes heavy riffs, lots of synths, and catchy vocal melodies. The dynamic voice of frontwoman Jessica Pons moves between soft melodic lines and desperate singing. Guitarist Javier Pons provides two-hand tapping guitars and tons of head-banging riffs. Bassist Luis Pons and drummer Deven Starr provide a solid pulse and backbone that gives the song the perfect foundation.- Red Calling
